SASSA War Veterans Grant was released for those who served in the Second World War (1939-1945), or the Korean War (1950-53). You can apply for the military veterans grant if you are 60 years old or have a physical disability and not receiving any other social grant from the Government. SASSA War Veterans Grant Application Process
Once you completed the all required documents, visit your nearest SASSA office for the retired soldier grant application process. After completing the form, submit it to the SASSA officer and take the receipt as proof of your application process. How Much is the War Veterans Grant Amount
With a recent update on April 2024, SASSA increased the ear veteran grant amount by R90/month. SASSA retired veteran grant applicants will now get R2200 per month from April. There is another increase of R10/month in war veteran grants in October 2024.

However, if you selected the bank account method, then SASSA will directly deposit grant payments into your bank account.
