Registration Process on the SASSA website

Before applying to the SASSA grant the applicant has to register himself on the SASSA services website. You can easily register yourself on the SASSA website after following the steps below:

  • Visit the SASSA services website.
  • Scroll down and click on the “Register” button.

  • Now login to the SASSA services website by using the ID number and password you used to register.

How do I Apply for SASSA Reconsideration

If your SASSA social grant application is declined by the South African Social Security Agency then you can apply for SASSA reconsideration. When you apply SASSA will reconsider your application and again check whether you are eligible or not. If you are eligible then SASSA will approve your application.

If your application is again declined after the reconsideration request then you can SASSA appeal the decision to the Ministry of Social Development. They will review your appeal and decide to approve or decline. Make sure to apply for an appeal within 90 days of the SASSA reconsideration decline.
